What media formats are supported?
Statuz supports PNG, JPEG, TIFF, HEIC, GIF, and BMP for images, and MP4, MOV, M4V, and WebM for videos.
Can I share content to Statuz from other apps?
Yes! Statuz includes a system-wide Share Extension that works with any Mac app.
What are the file size limits for media?
Statuz automatically compresses videos before publishing. Mastodon enforces a 40MB limit after compression.
What is the watermark feature?
Statuz automatically adds a watermark to protect your content. Premium users can disable or customize it.
How many posts can I create in a thread?
You can create threads with up to 15 posts. Each post can have its own text, media, and settings.
Do you save or share my data?
No, we don't collect or store any of your creative or sensitive data on our servers. Only your name, email, and license key are stored.
How does scheduling work?
With Statuz Premium, you can schedule posts to publish automatically at specific times. The app runs in the background.
Can I post images and videos at the same time?
Yes, you can mix images and videos. Statuz automatically adjusts according to each platform's limitations.
What platforms does Statuz support?
Statuz currently supports X (Twitter), BlueSky, and Mastodon. You can connect multiple accounts from each platform.
What are the minimum system requirements?
Statuz requires macOS 14.0 or newer, 2GB of RAM, and 2GB of free disk space.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Absolutely! Statuz has three customizable global keyboard shortcuts that work from anywhere on macOS.
Is there a limit to how many media items I can add per post?
Yes, you can add up to 4 media items per post in a grid layout.
Why is the character limit 280?
The 280-character counter provides a visual guide rather than a strict limit, as platform limits vary.
How does alt text work?
Alt text provides descriptions for images, making your posts accessible to people using screen readers.
What video export presets are available?
Statuz offers multiple export presets: Social Media (720p), HD, Full HD (1080p), 4K (2160p), and Original.
Why is the maximum number of posts 15?
We've set the maximum to 15 posts as a balanced limit that works well across different platforms.
Can I automate Statuz with scripts or AI assistants?
Yes! Premium users can enable the built-in MCP Server and use the URL scheme API.
Does Statuz support light mode?
Yes, Statuz automatically follows your system's theme, supporting both light and dark mode seamlessly.
Pricing & Licensing
How long is the Premium license valid?
Premium licenses are valid for 1 year from purchase. LTD licenses are lifetime and never expire.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Free gives you unlimited manual posting and full editing tools. Premium adds scheduling automation, multiple accounts, and export features.
What happens when my Premium license expires?
You'll automatically revert to Free tier features. You can renew at any time to restore Premium features.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't offer refunds since you can try the full app for free before purchasing. Test everything first, then buy with confidence.
Can I upgrade from Free to Premium later?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time. Your existing posts and data will be preserved.
